Shah Rukh Khan has outdone himself in this new pic. He plays both main characters, different in ages, voice communication patterns, torso language. In a key scene the superstar, Aryan, starting time meets his infatuated fan, Guarav. Subtle emotions flicker across Aryan'south face: cold fury tempered by sympathy for the skinny kid crumpled on the floor, followed by fascinated horror when Gaurav turns and reveals his resemblance to the star. Exasperation explodes into anger as Gaurav defies him. Equally Guarav, the actor portrays hurt morphing into murderous vengefulness, especially with his expressive eyes. It's clear that his demands will only escalate if Aryan gives in. But Gaurav is so similar a youngster that he evokes compassion even equally he grows more than and more unhinged.

This was Shah Rukh Khan'due south finest slice of piece of work to date. It was far greater than the double gyre he played in Indistinguishable, or the double roll he played in Don. Fan is the story of a love affair gone wrong and turned into subversive obsession and hatred. The two roles are washed so superbly that it is almost impossible to call up they are being played by the same man. Good motion-picture show plot and the brand up was fantastic - made him look a 1000000 times younger. But in the end...never really rooted for Gaurav or sympathized with him after the whole incident with the other thespian. Wished the movie would accept showed how the residue of the public found out that at that place WAS someone pretending to be Aryan. Because the movie revolved then much about fans and public opinions - and since nosotros didn't really see their reaction afterwards...felt like a loose end..so information technology was unstatisflying. And another thing...it was weird after the big fight, Aryan was going to give Gaurav a gamble to forget things and move on. I mean after everything he did!! Plus it goes against that scene where Aryan says "He'south seen my star face, now he will see my real face up". I mean that scene had an impact and fabricated him more charismatic. And then the ending just...didn't actually brand sense. Plus his "sisters" did not make any cameo appearances :( And in that location were no good songs (like the normally ones in bollywood movies). But his all-time movie lately. Hopefully his movies will keep evolving.

I used to exist a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan. It was his acting chops combined with his risk taking that made him the superstar that he is today. One time he got there, he played it safe and minted the big bucks playing similar roles over and over once again. I stopped watching his movies altogether for a while. Recently, I saw Dear Zindagi and was tempted to check out this well reviewed moving picture. I think this is probably one of his best movies. Maneesh Sharma does a fine job as director. SRK is astonishing as the obsessive fan as well every bit a version of himself in real life. It reminded me why I was once a huge fan.

SRK is i of my favorite actors ,and I've seen all of his films . However, I idea that this i was not ane that I would desire to see .At first, I idea that this moving-picture show was the height of pretentiousness. Who would want to lookout man an histrion playing himself and playing one of his fans? Now that I've seen the moving picture I stand corrected. SRK plays the part of the fan with a lot of pity. The graphic symbol is obsessed and, in some means, misunderstood. SRK makes the fan someone that you lot sympathize with and the actor someone whom you tin can respect. I've added this to the list of my favorite SRK movies.

The premise of the movie is similar to The Fan (1996), although I liked The Fan ameliorate. I'm not hither to provide a synopsis of the movie then I'll simply mail service my review at present.
Although I liked Fan, it lost steam towards the 2nd half for me. The movie makers really fabricated me stretch my suspension of disbelief from the Dubrovnik part and onwards. How the hell was Gaurav able to bypass the background cheque? Bhutiani has security all over the place except for exterior of Aryan's dressing room? Aryan'southward banana sees Gaurav dancing with Bhutiani's daughter on CCTV just doesn't see when Gaurav leaves the room? Aryan'due south security doesn't have enough sense to follow Aryan when Aryan chases later Gaurav? Aryan doesn't decide to wait for Gaurav to come up upward for air after Gaurav dives in the sea? These things plus more than made me not enjoy the picture show as much.
I besides idea the movie makers were irresponsible in the glorification of Gaurav'southward life at the end of the movie. Gaurav was conspicuously mentally ill and mental disease should never be glorified.

SRK is pretty unbelievable in this and it's worth seeing just to come across how amazingly he plays the dual roles. I'chiliad a huge fan of his anyhow merely more often than not for his gazing soulfully into the heroines eyes but this film showcases the magnitude of his actual interim ability. The plot is expert besides, suspenseful and fairly straightforward with no major plot holes which is also a kind of phenomenon for a Bollywood film. A good movie overall and a definite must encounter for SRK fans.
